A LGCY Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process as it pertains to inventory management to ensure that goods are efficiently and effectively transported, stored, and distributed in the respective market.

Day in the Life of a LGCY Logistics Manager:

  • Developing and implementing JSD logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of accurate material.
  • Overseeing inventory needs to ensure orders are placed in a timely manner to reduce material idle time on onsite.
  • Manage BOM from distributors to ensure proper site placement.
  • Locate and implement continued tracking on all assets to ensure jobs are installed with correct material, and track material changes as needed.
  • Making sure that all logistics activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Analyzing inventory logistics metrics and performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assisting with controlling costs around JSD projects.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, field operations, and sales representatives.
  • Addressing and resolving any issues or delays in the inventory logistics process.
  • Utilizing logistics software and technology to optimize operations.
  • Ensuring that all logistics activities adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting delivery schedules and quality standards through effective inventory management.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Increase On-Time Delivery Rate to 98% or higher.
  • Manage and track the Reverse Logistics Cycle Time to ensure the average time taken to process returns and get them back into inventory is within 5 business days.
  • Create and maintain a 95% Inventory Accuracy, or the accuracy of requested delivery SKU’s and quantities compared to physical delivery.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 3+ years experience in a warehouse and/or a lead role
  • 2+ years of solar experience
  • 2+ years of JSD experience
  • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record according to company policy
  • Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of company staff

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to bend, squat, stretch and lift
  • Exposure to outside weather conditions
  • Ability to work in a regular office environment
  • Ability to work in a regular warehouse environment
