About This Role:

A Site Surveyor Supervisor is required to be a leader on the ground for all site surveyors at their location. This person will help schedule the survey teams work day while also ensuring their team secures the required information for the job sites to accurately build and permit the project plans for installation. A successful candidate for the tole will be capable of being a cross-functional team member by not only conducting site surveys, but also serve as an important role during the inspection process.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of site surveyors with emphasis on safety and quality work
  • Conduct site surveys for prospective customers as scheduled
  • Responsible for being present during the job inspection process
  • Provide detailed information regarding electrical, roof and structural
  • Upload all collected information in a timely manner
  • Represent LGCY Power in a professional and respectful manner
  • Ensure a positive and high-quality customer experience through all interactions
  • Be a part of providing a safe, positive, and efficient work?environment
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned

Responsibilities:

  • Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings
  • Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables
  • Ensures piping complies with electrical codes
  • Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them
  • Connects electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building
  • Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation
  • Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed
  • Replaces conduit and wiring as needed
  • Replaces circuit breakers as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of prior solar/roofing/electrical experience

Position Summary:

As a PV Designer, you will be responsible for learning and refining our process of designing code-compliant residential solar photovoltaic systems following engineering department policy. This is an entry level position focused on developing individuals to become qualified PV Designers. This is a fast paced yet detail-oriented position.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage all as-built requests for approved in-field design changes
  • Execute designs that adhere to grid compliance and permitting requirements 
  • Maintain design compliance by referencing structural, electrical and fire codes
  • Perform accurate system sizing calculations 
  • Create permit applications for submission in different jurisdictions
  • Efficiently conduct BOM preparation
  • Design solar projects using multiple programs and software
  • Troubleshoot design and construction issues in the field and communicate updates accordingly
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Communicate effectively, professionally, and kindly
