Position Summary:

As a PV Design QC Specialist, you will be responsible for learning and refining our process of designing code-compliant residential solar photovoltaic systems following engineering department policy. You will review and provide feedback from a quality control standpoint and support Designers in any way necessary to improve team performance. This technical-driven position is an office-based role with a preference in being in the Lehi, Utah location.

Responsibilities:

  • Review projects to ensure solar design accuracy in addition to ensuring that the correct processes are followed upon design completion.
  • Provide support and feedback to be documented in Design Database
  • Review completed BOM/SO for accuracy
  • Review Completed Designs for compliance with local Building and Electrical Code
  • Document and provide feedback to Team Supervisors and Designers on over all design accuracy
  • Monitor Design revision reasons to identify trends and areas of improvement
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities

  • 2+ years of experience in the solar industry is required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination or education and or experience is preferred
  • Experience using NetSuite as a CRM
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the NEC/ICC
  • Ability to work in a detailed and fast paced environment
  • Ability to communicate with an array of stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Job Overview:

The primary objective of this role is to create a positive customer experience by ensuring the accuracy of materials ordered for project installations. This involves careful review and updating of critical project documents, such as BOMs (Bill of Materials) and Sales Orders, to guarantee that all materials and quantities are correct and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

– Document Review: Carefully examine survey photos, design plans, BOMs, and Sales Orders to ensure all details are accurate and complete.

– Discrepancy Identification: Identify any inconsistencies or discrepancies in project documentation and promptly communicate these to the appropriate stakeholders for correction.

– Error Tracking and Reporting: Track identified errors, report trends, and provide insights to drive continuous improvement in the materials ordering process.

– BOM and Sales Order Updates: Regularly update BOMs and Sales Orders to reflect the correct materials and quantities needed for installation.

– Cross-Functional Communication: Effectively communicate with various teams across the enterprise to ensure alignment and resolution of any issues.

– Program Development: Lead efforts to build a scalable program and team to support the growing needs of the organization.

Qualifications:

– Highschool diploma or equivalent is required.

– Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration) or equivalent work experience is preferred.

– 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on materials management, project coordination, or supply chain operations.

– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

– Proficiency in project management software and tools.

– Experience in developing and leading teams.

The Customer Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with internal and external departments to create and execute effective marketing strategies aimed at enhancing customer experience, retention, and growth.   • Oversee marketing automation processes, including email triggers, SMS alerts, and push notifications, throughout the customer lifecycle using Customer.IO, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and other platforms.
  • Work with Content, PR, and Creative teams to create email communications, press releases, and marketing materials that strengthen client relationships.
  • Clearly define program strategies and report outcomes to key stakeholders.
  • Determine customer segments for targeted marketing initiatives and design customer offers and incentive programs to achieve ROI-positive outcomes.
  • Must have experience planning, creating and delivering on customer-facing email and SMS campaigns.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage all as-built requests for approved in-field design changes
  • Execute designs that adhere to grid compliance and permitting requirements
  • Maintain design compliance by referencing structural, electrical and fire codes
  • Perform accurate system sizing calculations
  • Create permit applications for submission in different jurisdictions
  • Efficiently conduct BOM preparation
  • Design solar projects using multiple programs and software
  • Troubleshoot design and construction issues in the field and communicate updates accordingly

Minimum Qualifications:
