LGCY is one of the fastest growing residential solar providers in the nation since 2014 and has been recognized as “Best Places to Work” by Glassdoor. In the Service Tech role, you will be ensuring our residential solar systems are installed in a safe and efficient manner. We will rely on the Service Techs to assist in developing a culture of safety, responsibility, appreciation, and quality service in our pursuit of setting the industry standard for solar installation.

Responsibilities

  • Work alone or as part of a team installing servicing residential roof mounted solar systems
  • Represent LGCY Power in a professional and respectful manner
  • Moderate system electrical troubleshooting
  • Repair systems due to damage by weather or manufacture’s defects
  • Meet with local building inspectors and obtain passed inspection results 
  • Inspect onsite issues as requested
  • Ensure a positive and high-quality customer experience through all interactions
  • Learn AHJ/Utility/NEC requirements and guidelines 
  • Assist in or complete electrical wiring pertaining to the solar installation
  • Assist with MPUs and battery installations
  • Acquire the skills and knowledge to move into future leadership roles
  • Adhere to all OSHA and/or LGCY safety procedures
  • Clean and prepare vans at the end of each day
  • Be a part of providing a safe, positive, and efficient work environment
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Coachable and self-motivated
  • Possess a “learning mindset”
  • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record according to company policy
  • 1+ years of prior solar/roofing/electrical experience
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Certifications

  • Local electrical apprenticeship registration
  • Previous leadership experience
  • OSHA 10
  • 1 year of prior solar/roofing/electrical experience
  • Enphase experience/certifications
  • National Electric Code knowledge
  • Knowledge of local AHJ/Utility requirements
  • First Aid & CPR
  • Reliable transportation
  • Self-accountability

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to withstand heights, climb ladders and be on roofs
  • Ability to bend, squat, stretch and lift
  • Ability to work in all weather and climates
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, such as attics

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • 6:00 am start time
  • Weekends and OT may be required
  • Workdays and start times are subject to change dependent on weather & additional requirements

PV Designer: Las Vegas – 2287224

As a PV Designer, you will be responsible for learning and refining our process of designing code-compliant residential solar photovoltaic systems following engineering department policy. This is an entry level position focused on developing individuals to become qualified PV Designers. This is a fast paced, yet detail-oriented position.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage all as-built requests for approved in-field design changes
  • Execute designs that adhere to grid compliance and permitting requirements
  • Maintain design compliance by referencing structural, electrical and fire codes
  • Perform accurate system sizing calculations
  • Create permit applications for submission in different jurisdictions
  • Efficiently conduct BOM preparation
  • Design solar projects using multiple programs and software
  • Troubleshoot design and construction issues in the field and communicate updates accordingly
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in a regular office environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Communicate effectively, professionally, and kindly
  • Obtains a strong sense of urgency and accountability
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new computer and technical programs quickly

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, but not required
  • One year of experience in AutoCAD or similar software preferred, but not required
  • One year of experience in the solar industry preferred, but not required

Scheduling Coordinator: Las Vegas – 2282564

The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling a high volume of appointments for installations. The Scheduling Coordinator works closely with the Branch Coordinator, sales reps, and other management to ensure jobs are being properly scheduled and distributed accordingly and fairly between crews in a timely and efficient manner. A successful Scheduling Coordinator will be able to manage stakeholder expectations, update the calendar in a timely manner when changes occur, and create efficient schedules for each installation crew.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Create and maintain the installation schedule 

  • Communicate professionally and effectively with the customer throughout the installation 

  • Follow up on inquiries about project status in a timely, efficient, and professional manner 

  • Email and phone communication with appropriate stakeholders to ensure relevant parties are up to date with the status of their project 

  • Update notes in an internal database and spreadsheets for all related tasks and manages project status changes 

  • Create a positive customer experience 

  • All other duties as assigned  

Qualifications 

  • Highschool diploma required 

  • Prior experience working with HOA’s preferred, but not required

  • 1+ years in a customer service focused role 

  • Prior experience working in a solar environment is highly preferred 

  • Spanish speaking is preferred, but not required 

  • Proactive and self-motivated 

  • Ability to work in a detailed and fast paced environment 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Proficient using computer applications 

  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple task
