Sr Field Support Specialist: Hurst – 2959243

Job Summary:

The Sr Field Support Specialist oversees and ensures the quality of field installations by conducting audits, reviewing photos, and communicating with installation crews on a daily basis. They maintain accurate records, verify compliance with standards, and troubleshoot issues to enhance installation processes. The role requires collaboration with installation teams and updating CRM systems while conducting closeout calls for our field teams who have completed their work. The Sr Field Support Specialist also identifies opportunities for process improvement and contributes to best practices implementation by finding common issues throughout their review and coaching team members accordingly. This position is located in either DFW, Texas or Lehi, Utah.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and facilitate field installation close-out calls
  • Review installation completion photos to ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices
  • Conduct detailed quality control audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of installations and report findings to branch leadership
  • Communicate findings and feedback to installation crews in a clear and constructive manner
  • Collaborate with installation teams to address and resolve any issues or discrepancies identified during the review process
  • Provide guidance on quality improvement measures to enhance overall installation processes
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the quality control process
  • Verify installations align with the design
  • Create design revisions when needed
  • Confirm installations comply with NEC and funding standards
  • Work closely with field operatives by building effective working relationships
  • Schedule service calls when necessary
  • Troubleshoot all installation, battery, and MPU issues within a timely manner
  • Ensure Enphase Enlighten is commissioned to version 4.1
  • Update the CRM with all completed tasks in real-time
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices
  • Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and updates, integrating new knowledge into the quality control procedures
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of customer service experience is required
  • 3+ year of solar experience is required
  • 3+ year of experience within a CRM is required, Netsuite is preferred
  • Ability to spend considerable time at a desk
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment
  • This is an in-office position where working in a regular office environment in a stationary position is required
