In the Sr. Installer role, you will be working as a team to install residential solar systems in a safe and efficient manner. We will rely on the Sr. Installer to assist in developing a culture of safety, responsibility, appreciation, and quality service in our pursuit of setting the industry standard for solar installation.

Responsibilities:

  • Help oversee the installation process and ensure it exceeds company standards
  • Be a part of providing a safe, positive, and efficient work environment
  • Testing system components while the system in operating
  • Represent LGCY Power in a professional and respectful manner
  • Ensure a positive and high-quality customer experience through all interactions
  • Understand and abide to AHJ/Utility/NEC requirements and guidelines
  • Help train and mentor crew team members
  • Ensure all crew members understand and adhere to all OSHA and/or LGCY safety procedures
  • Clean and prepare vans at the end of each day
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned 

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of prior solar/roofing/electrical experience
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday
  • 6:00 am start time
  • Weekends and OT may be required

About This Role:

A Site Surveyor is required on all projects to provide the Design and Engineering team the required information to accurately build and permit the project plans for installation. A successful candidate for the Site Surveyor role will be capable of being a cross-functional team member by not only conducting site surveys, but also serve as an important role during the inspection process.

  • Conduct site surveys for prospective customers as scheduled
  • Responsible for being present during the job inspection process
  • Provide detailed information regarding electrical, roof and structural

In the Project Specialist role, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting a high volume of applications, permits and claims ensuring compliance with all relevant utility guidelines and agreements. The project specialist also works on interconnection applications and assisting with scheduling.

PROJECT SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively review applications to ensure required information is provided to maintain quality and efficiency throughout the application process, and follow up with customer as needed
  • Identify common issues and develop suitable solutions and processes
  • Address incoming inquiries in a timely, efficient, and professional manner
  • Update notes in an internal database and spreadsheets for all related tasks and manages project status changes
  • Follow up on inquiries about project status in a timely, efficient, and professional manner
  • Email and phone communication with colleagues and utilities to ensure projects move smoothly
  • Conduct web research and phone inquiries to analyze and document utility processes for various utilities and jurisdictions
  • Proactively contact utilities on that status of projects and get clarification on utility requirements

PROJECT SPECIALIST REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record according to company policy

Position Overview:

In the Electrician role, you will be working with the installation team in installing electrical service equipment, wiring, and electrical equipment for residential solar systems. We will rely on the experience of the Electrician to assist with inspecting electrical components, ensuring that the systems meet all electrical and building codes, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the work performed is compliant with quality standards as well as NEC articles and local codes
  • Adhere to basic OSHA safety standards
  • Be an essential team member of a four-person installation crew leading all parts of the electrical installation
  • Display the ability to install conduit and conductors in an efficient and aesthetic manner
  • Test and diagnose electrical issues associated with the system
  • Communicate effectively with customers, inspectors, and team members
  • Be capable of working on and around various ladders
  • Produce quality, code compliant installations in all weather conditions
  • Install, test, and diagnose grid tied, residential battery backup systems
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of prior electrical experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to interpret plan sets
  • Be well versed in residential wiring and related NEC articles
  • Advanced troubleshooting capabilities
  • Competent working safely from ladders and residential rooftops when needed
  • Ability to work in attics and similar confined spaces when needed
  • Advanced skills bending EMT conduit
  • Ability to safely operate all hand and power tools associated with electrical installation
  • Experience using multimeters
  • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record according to company policy
  • Reliable transportation

Preferred Knowledge and Certifications:

  • Local electrical apprenticeship registration
  • Completion of an electrical apprentice program and/or associated formal education
  • Experience and/or knowledge with residential solar installations
  • Experience and/or knowledge working with grid tied battery backup systems
  • Experience performing residential main panel upgrades
  • OSHA 10
  • Enphase experience/certifications
  • Wireman license is preferred
  • Journeyman license is highly preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring
  • Ability to withstand heights, climb ladders and be on roofs
  • Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding
  • Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Ability to work in all weather and climates
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, such as attics
