In the Project Specialist role, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting a high volume of applications and claims ensuring compliance with all relevant utility guidelines and agreements.

PROJECT SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively review applications to ensure required information is provided to maintain quality and efficiency throughout the application process, and follow up with customer as needed
  • Identify common issues and develop suitable solutions and processes
  • Address incoming inquiries in a timely, efficient, and professional manner
  • Update notes in an internal database and spreadsheets for all related tasks and manages project status changes
  • Follow up on inquiries about project status in a timely, efficient, and professional manner
  • Email and phone communication with colleagues and utilities to ensure projects move smoothly
  • Conduct web research and phone inquiries to analyze and document utility processes for various utilities and jurisdictions
  • Proactively contact utilities on that status of projects and get clarification on utility requirements
  • All other duties as assigned

PROJECT SPECIALIST REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Valid?driver’s?license?and?a satisfactory driving record according to company policy

The Inspection Technician will host inspections for LGCY Solar Installation Services. As an integral member of LGCY’s Field Operations team, the Inspection Technician keeps jobs moving efficiently towards permission to operate while meeting monthly objectives. The Inspection Technician will be responsible for all field and administrative tasks associated with passing inspections. The goal is to drive the Inspection’s working queues to zero as quickly, safely, and efficiently as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess job readiness for final inspection, and schedule inspections with local building inspector
  • Call AHJ to confirm inspection time frame in the AM
  • Provide excellent customer service to homeowners by informing them of inspection arrival times and letting them know what will be done while on the property
  • Review pictures and site conditions and gather all necessary parts to complete inspection on site
  • Verifying labeling and placards are up to code for inspection, and rivet placards
  • Meet inspector, assist with setup, tying off ladders and opening solar equipment or main panel
  • Maintain the safety of themselves and others by adhering to all written and verbal instructions, promptly reporting and/or correcting all hazards or unsafe conditions, questioning nonstandard operations or environmental factors that may involve unmitigated hazards, and providing feedback to Branch Manager on all safety issues
  • Take notes for corrections and notify District Manager of any issues or updates
  • Keep inspection vehicle stocked with the necessary materials
  • Service solar panel systems when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1+ years of experience from relatable field preferred
  • Familiarity with electrical plans and field layouts
  • Knowledge of local AHJ/Utility requirements

  • Monday-Friday
  • 7:00 am start time
  • Weekends and OT may be required
  • Workdays and start times are subject to change dependent on weather and additional requirements

Responsibilities 

  • Represent LGCY Power professionally by increasing solar awareness and becoming an expert on solar energy
  • Ensure a positive and high-quality customer experience through all interactions
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
  • Participate in continuous training opportunities to hone your craft and build leadership skills
  • All sales positions’ daily responsibilities differ based on the nature of the role from qualifying customers to closing contracts through an in-home sales process, placement BOE and up to managers’ discretion
  • Provide excellent customer service by managing accounts proactively 
  • This position is a door to door sales position
