An Accounting Clerk will be responsible for developing, establishing and implementing successful accounting practices and processes to ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting tasks. The Accounting Clerk will work closely with the accounting team to complete accounting activities and preparing accurate reports for financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Review and record payable invoices in NetSuite
- Assist the Senior Accountant in the preparation of weekly payment runs to inventory vendors and contractors assisting in solar system installations
- Review and approve credit card transactions, record those transactions in NetSuite, and reconcile NetSuite to the credit card statement at month end
- Assist in cost accounting by ensuring all transactions recorded are properly classified, assigned to a department, and tagged to the relative revenue transaction ID, if applicable
- Abide by all company procedures and accounting principles
- Work directly with vendors, clients and internal team members to ensure that payments are made regularly to vendors with whom the company works to fulfill solar system installations
- Assist with external audits as needed
- Assist in multiple month end procedures, including credit card reconciliations, fixed asset reconciliation, expense classification, etc.
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of Accounting experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting procedures and principles
- Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information
- High level of accuracy and efficiency
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Courteous, professional manner, strong customer service skills
- Computer literacy and strong typing skills, experience with accounting software may be required
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to comply with all company, local, state, and federal financial regulations
Nice to Have:
- Experience with NetSuite and QuickBooks
- Inventory and cost accounting experience
- AP specific experience (recording invoices, payment preparation and recording, etc.)

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities within the organization, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations, and optimizing our tax strategies. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of tax planning and compliance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex tax matters to both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and filing of various monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax filings
- Manage the preparation and filing of annual personal property filings
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and effective tax planning and compliance
- Monitor proposed tax legislative/rate changes regarding state and local tax and proactively communicate their potential impact on the organization
- Assist with tax audits and collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed
- Provide guidance and recommendations to management and other departments on tax-related matters
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and ensure tax considerations are properly addressed
- Maintain accurate and organized tax records, documentation, and files
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to tax management
- Help coordinate deliverables for our external tax team on direct tax matter and filings
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax planning and compliance
- Strong ability to research and understand indirect tax treatments for difference company scenarios
- Familiarity with tax software and ERP systems; experience with tax research tools is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters to individuals at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- High integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
