Solar Sales Manager, New Construction
- Develop and grow strategic relationships with regional and national home builders to increase solar adoption on new construction projects.
- Identify and qualify new builder partners and sales opportunities.
- Support account onboarding and coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless sales-to-install transitions.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and legal to streamline processes for builder programs.
- Track sales metrics and pipeline performance; present regular updates to leadership.
- Attend industry events, builder conferences, and networking functions to promote the company’s builder offerings.
- Gather market intelligence and competitive insights to inform strategy.
- Assist in the creation of sales materials, proposals, and presentations tailored to builder clients.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or partnerships—ideally in solar, home building, or real estate industries.
- Strong understanding of the new construction lifecycle and/or builder operations.
- Proven ability to manage complex relationships and long sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
