Job Overview:

The Service Support Specialist plays a crucial role in the solar industry’s service support department by providing essential metrics, data, and training to field service teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient and effective service operations, tracking lender service requests, and supporting various service-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and update weekly reports for lenders, including Sunnova and Everbright.

  • Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of data to relevant stakeholders.

  • Track and manage lender service requests, such as those from Omnidian and Sunnova.

  • Assign billable service requests to appropriate branches and monitor progress to completion.

  • Assist customer service teams with homeowner inquiries and issues.

  • Provide clear and concise information to homeowners regarding their service requests.

  • Provide support in managing and coordinating service-related activities.

  • Invoicing billing services and tracking invoice payments.

  • Work collaboratively with Service Support and Service team members across the nation.

  • Contribute to developing and implementing strategies for department growth and improvement.

  • Create invoices based on branch assessments and material requirements.

  • Perform Accounts Receivable functions by following up within reasonable timeframes.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required

  • 1+ years of experience in the solar industry is required

  • Experience using NetSuite as a CRM is a plus

  • Ability to work in a detailed and fast paced environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient using computer applications such as all Microsoft software
