About This Role:

The Inspection Coordinator will host inspections for LGCY Solar Installation Services. As an integral member of LGCY’s Field Operations team, the Inspection Coordinator keeps jobs moving efficiently towards permission to operate while meeting monthly objectives. The Inspection Coordinator will be responsible for all field and administrative tasks associated with passing inspections. The goal is to drive the Inspection’s working queues to zero as quickly, safely, and efficiently as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles to ensure there are no flat tires, etc. before usage
  • Provide excellent customer service to homeowners by informing them of inspection arrival times and letting them know what will be done while on the property
  • Prepare the property for inspection and start the steps to commission the residence
  • Assess job readiness for final inspection and schedule inspections with local building inspector
  • Communicate all relevant information concerning next steps and timelines to the customer, jurisdiction, and leadership
  • Update the company database with relevant notes, necessary documentation, and move jobs forward per company guidelines

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Customer-service oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Coachable, self-motivated, and accountable
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record according to company policy
  • Must be punctual with appointments and deadlines
  • Able to set up and secure 20-foot ladders
  • All other duties as assigned

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Certifications:

  • Experience working with City or Utility inspectors
  • OSHA 10
  • Enphase experience/certifications
  • Knowledge of local AHJ/Utility requirements
  • First Aid & CPR

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 20+ pounds
  • Ability to withstand heights, climb ladders and be on roofs
  • Ability to bend, squat, stretch and lift
  • Ability to work in all weather and climates

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday
  • Weekends and OT may be required
  • Workdays and start times are subject to change dependent on weather and additional requirements
